Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By creating an account or using FuelDesk (the "Service") at fueldesk.online, app.fueldesk.online, or through the FuelDesk mobile app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. The Service is operated under the name FuelDesk Technologies, India ("we", "us", "our").

2. What FuelDesk Is (and Is Not)

FuelDesk is cloud software for managing a petrol pump business: fuel sales, meter readings, tanks, day closing, expenses, credit (udhaar) ledgers, staff, reports, and related records.

• FuelDesk is a record-keeping and management tool. It does not dispense fuel, process fuel transactions, or connect to pump machinery.
• Reports, profit figures, and calculations shown in the app are based on the data you enter. They are for your business insight only and are not accounting, tax, or financial advice. Please verify important figures with your accountant.

3. Accounts and Responsibility

• You must be 18 years or older to use the Service.
• You agree to provide accurate information during signup and keep it updated.
• The pump owner controls staff and manager accounts for their pump and is responsible for activity under those accounts.
• Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to store unlawful content;
• Attempt to access another pump's data or interfere with the Service's security;
• Scrape, copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the Service;
• Overload or disrupt our servers.

We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

5. Free Trial, Subscription, and Payments

• Free trial: new pumps get a 10-day free trial with full access.
• Plans: current pricing is shown on the pricing page. Founding-offer pricing is limited to the first 20 pumps and is locked for the lifetime of their subscription as long as it remains active.
• Payment: subscriptions are currently paid manually (offline payment recorded by our team). Online payment options may be added later.
• Grace period: if a subscription expires, a short grace period (currently 4 days) applies, after which access is suspended until payment. Your data is not deleted on suspension.
• Price changes: we may change prices for new billing periods with prior notice. Founding-offer pumps keep their locked pricing.

6. Refund Policy

Subscription payments are non-refundable. In exceptional situations, a refund may be considered on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion — contact support@fueldesk.online.

7. Your Data

• You own your data. All business records you enter into FuelDesk belong to you.
• You grant us a limited license to store and process this data only to operate the Service.
• Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
• You can request an export or deletion of your data at any time (see Privacy Policy).

8. Service Availability

We work hard to keep FuelDesk available at all times, and we take daily backups. However, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" — we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance with or without notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claims arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, lost business, or lost data beyond our backup obligations.

10. Intellectual Property

The FuelDesk name, logo, software, and design are the property of FuelDesk Technologies. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our brand or software other than the right to use the Service.

11. Termination

• By you: you may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.
• By us: we may suspend or terminate accounts for non-payment (after the grace period) or violation of these Terms.
• After account deletion, data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify registered users (by email or in-app notice) at least 15 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
